Dr. Tanveer Chaudhry, MD

Medical Director

A board-certified MD in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry & Neurology, and Integrative & Holistic Medicine, Dr. Chaudhry heads our nationally renowned clinical team. He’s experienced in a variety of alternative and complementary healing approaches such as shamanism, nutrition, hypnosis, and meditation.

As our Medical Director, Dr. Chaudhry ensures that all of our practices take an integrative approach to whole-person wellness while also promoting a compassionate recovery experience. As a proud graduate of University of Miami, he has spent over 20 years in the behavioral health field. In fact, his expertise and influence on addiction and holistic medicine has led to numerous prestigious honors.

To this day, Dr. Chaudhry remains committed to delivering a life-changing experience for all clients attempting to embrace sobriety.

Jessica Wallace, RN, CARN

Director of Nursing

Jessica Wallace is the Director of Nursing at Spring Gardens Detox. Jessica is responsible for all detox services, providing direction and supervision to our nursing staff while managing all aspects of our guests’ care and education during the detoxification treatment. Jessica previously worked as a detox nursing manager and supervisor for the last 10 years and has extensive experience in inpatient detox units. Jessica utilizes her many years in the medical and behavioral health field in order to provide the most excellent care for our guests. Jessica is also a certified addiction’s registered nurse. Jessica believes in an integrative approach to care and is passionate about treating all aspects of a guest’s overall wellness including the body, mind, and spirit.

David Philipsen

Director of Eastern Medicine

David Philipsen is the Director of Eastern Medicine at Spring Gardens Detox. David is a recent graduate of Florida College of Integrative Medicine and currently working on his NCCAOM boards. As a staff member at Spring Gardens Detox, his responsibilities include educating our clients on the modalities of Eastern medicine and the increased success rate of sobriety when combining standard and integrative therapies. David’s education is not limited to eastern medicine. His education also includes herbology and pharmacology giving our clients the opportunity to learn a heathier lifestyle. David facilitates group sessions from topics range from Anti-inflammatories to a Zhen style of life. It is not uncommon for staff members to attend David’s presentations to learn more about holistic modalities and eastern principles that can enhance our guests’ recovery. David genuinely takes interest in each client providing not only knowledge, but the tools need to succeed in their individual quest for sobriety.

Christine Pringle, LMHC

Clinical Director

Christine Pringle, LMHC, is the Clinical Director of Spring Gardens Detox. Christine has oversight of all clinical programming at our detox facility. Christine was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana and received a BA in Arts-Psychology. Christine then went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Christine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has worked in the field of Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse for over 10 years. Christine has spent the majority of her career working with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Forensic, and Substance Abuse Populations. Christine’s responsibilities including clinical program development, clinical supervision, staff training, crisis management, and quality assurance. Christine advocates for treatment that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Danielle Cafiero

Case Manager

Danielle Cafiero is the case manager for Spring Gardens Detox. She is certified by the state of Florida in case management and has a BA in psychology. Danielle has over ten years of experience in case management working directly with those affected by substance-use disorder. Danielle meets with our guests regularly and helps develop an individualized plan to monitor their well-being, address their questions or concerns, and connect them with resources. Danielle also assists with any FMLA, court, medical, or insurance issues that may arise – alleviating all worry for our guests during their stay. Danielle helps with discharge planning and assists in finding the right program for aftercare, ensuring that our guests have a safe place to go, and that they continue treatment at discharge.
