Dr. Tanveer Chaudhry, MD

Medical Director

A board-certified MD in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry & Neurology, and Integrative & Holistic Medicine, Dr. Chaudhry heads our nationally renowned clinical team. He’s experienced in a variety of alternative and complementary healing approaches such as shamanism, nutrition, hypnosis, and meditation.

As our Medical Director, Dr. Chaudhry ensures that all of our practices take an integrative approach to whole-person wellness while also promoting a compassionate recovery experience. As a proud graduate of University of Miami, he has spent over 20 years in the behavioral health field. In fact, his expertise and influence on addiction and holistic medicine has led to numerous prestigious honors.

To this day, Dr. Chaudhry remains committed to delivering a life-changing experience for all clients attempting to embrace sobriety.

Cat Coppola, MSW, CAP

Clinical Director

Cat Coppola is the Clinical Director at Spring Gardens Detox. Cat has oversight of all clinical programming at our detox facility. Her responsibilities including clinical program development, clinical supervision, staff training, crisis management, and quality assurance. Cat received her master’s degree in social work from Barry University. She is also a certified addiction professional (CAP). Cat has over ten years of experience providing treatment to individuals with addiction, trauma, and severe mental illness. Her expertise is in residential detox facilities where she has been instrumental in implementing a number of new clinical approaches for client care. Cat was a recipient of The President’s Call to Service Award for her participation in over 4,000+ hours of voluntary community service. She has also co-facilitated a number of seminars on the family systems approach to substance abuse. Cat has an open-door policy and will always be available to the guests at Spring Gardens Detox. She advocates for treatment that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Melinda Wilczynski, PMHNP

Director of Nursing

Malinda Wilczynski is the Director of Nursing at Spring Gardens Detox. Malinda is responsible for all detox services, providing direction and supervision to our nursing staff while managing all aspects of the clients’ care and education during the detoxification treatment. Malinda is a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri Columbia. Malinda utilizes her many years in the medical, mental health, and chemical dependency field in order to provide the most excellent care possible during the guests’ stay. On a daily basis, Malinda is responsible for reading vitals, medications, and allergies in patient charts, counseling on detox symptoms, lab results and recommending follow-up treatments. Malinda comes to Spring Gardens Detox with over 40 years of professional experience in nursing and patient care in psychiatric units, hospitals, nursing homes, universities, and mental health centers. She has won several awards for her excellence in nursing and leadership. Malinda is passionate about treating all aspects of a guests’ overall wellness including the mind, body, and spirit.
